For this series of work, Gabrielle has documented the seaside town of Skegness during the winter time. For many individuals, Skegness is their tourist destination where they go on holiday during the summer time, however for Gabrielle, she is a local, an insider. Her intention for this body of work is to show the honest reality that seasonal tourism has within a seaside resort. Tourists do not see what the area is like during out of season periods, so Gabrielle has created this body of work to visually show her audience what it is like.
