Suburban Culture explores the suburbs of Coventry, specifically within the postcode area of CV3. With there being a familiar aesthetic within suburbs, Gabrielle decided to create a body of work exploring the identity within the suburban landscape through her own personal experience. Suburbs are stereotypically not as ‘pretty’ as the City Centre’s as they are not the main attraction, however, suburbs are a very big part of our culture. Her journey through the suburban landscape has allowed her to explore the area and look at it from a different perspective.
